“Somatics explore the body as perceived from within by first-person perception...a field of study dealing with somatic phenomena: i.e., the human being as experienced by himself from the inside.” (Hanna, 2016).
Disciplines and practices that emphasise bodily awareness, mindful movement, self-attunement and a shift in energetic/emotional state.

These classes bring together grounded science and imaginative possibility. Each class will contain both up-regulating and down-regulating practices for a well-rounded and balancing effect. You can expect to be seated, lying down and standing for some of the class and offered a range of movement experiences, but all practices are offered with a “move as you feel” foundation. They can be worked to suit to you and your individual needs on any given day.
