A Journal for the dedicated Yoga Teacher...

The Yoga Class Reflection Journal is a supportive companion for yoga teachers who wish to deepen their teaching practice through self-reflection, assessment, and inspiration.

Rooted in the yogic principle of svādhyāya (self-study), this journal provides structured yet spacious prompts to guide you in reflecting after each class you teach. By pausing to notice your strengths, challenges, and insights, you’ll naturally refine your values, presence, and effectiveness as a teacher over time.

Designed with both practicality and depth in mind, the journal offers more than reflection pages—it also includes dedicated spaces to capture your favorite meditations, mantras, myths, and mudras, as well as blank pages for sequence ideas. With a concise reference to the 8 Limbs of Yoga, inspirational philosophy quotes, and a glossary page for Sanskrit terms, this becomes a personalized teaching resource you can return to long after the reflection pages are filled.

Whether you’re a new teacher looking to grow with confidence or an experienced guide seeking fresh perspective, the Yoga Class Reflection Journal will help you integrate the lived wisdom of each class, bringing more clarity, creativity, and heart to your teaching journey.

A word from Gigi...

I created this journal because it is what I wish I'd had during my early days as a teacher. My original training was not very thorough and I did a lot of follow-up study to fill in the gaps in my confidence. My greatest learning however, happened when I was teaching classes and reflecting on what did and didn't work during a class.

Although there are guidelines for what makes an amazing class, every teacher is going to bring their unique approach and medicine. This journal helps you reflect objectively on the aspects that contribute to a great yoga class at the same time as encouraging you to remember the unique spin you put on things, that make your classes so wonderfully unique to you.

I am someone that very much learns by doing and I saw the need for a tool that was practical, easy to use and could capture the long, layered and every-evolving nature of my professional journey. This journal reflects my intention to help teachers honor their growth, stay connected to yoga philosophy, and cultivate a sustainable, heart-centered teaching path.
