Movement, Meditation, Drum & Voice Bath - Seasonal Heart Medicine

SEASONAL HEART MEDICINE

Movement, Meditation, Drum & Voice Bath

As spring emerges, we gather to listen for what is stirring within us.

Seasonal Heart Medicine is a seasonal invitation to slow down, come into relationship with the season we are moving through, and tend to our own inner landscape through movement, meditation, rhythm and voice.

We begin in circle with a simple but beautiful reflection process and a meditation to connect more deeply to the truth of what is emerging for us.

We then explore and stoke our inner fire through warming movement and voice practices that nourish the nervous system, bring flow to stagnation and give voice to the heart's song. You are free to simply listen and feel rather than participate if you prefer.

We then settle into stillness and lie down to receive a Drum & Voice Bath, with intuitive vocals from Gigi. The steady medicine of rhythm offers an opportunity to soften and enter a wordless presence with a deep part of our nature. The vocals strum and play upon different parts of our hearts, letting us experience and feel the different notes of our spirits through the act of listening and empathising.

You may experience sensations, memories, images, emotions or insights, or just as valuable - the heart medicine of being still and receiving in community.

We finish by returning to circle, with space to share anything that arose for us during the journey.

This is not a space that chases sensationalism or catharsis. Catharsis may naturally arise through the energetic holding of the space, expressing ourselves and being together. My approach as a facilitator is to first and foremost, notice the sacredness in the simplicity of coming together and being present with ourselves and one another.

This is a chance to honour the mystery of the body, the changing season and our togetherness.
